We honestly love... wait L.O.V.E Lavinya Royes and we have done for a very long time. She has one of those unforgettable faces and her style is one of a kind. Her Instagram feed has got in our feels for a while. Let's just say, she's bound to blow up soon; and without a doubt, should have already. But as the saying goes, nothing happens before its time. So before Miss Royes goes viral. We wanted to catch up with her to find out what beauty products she cannot live without and that you need to cop if you haven't already.....
Hi Lavinya, thank you for sharing what's in your beauty bag, so before you share the goodies what do you do you currently do for a living?
I've worked in office administration for healthcare services for the last 7 years but am actively working on transitioning into PR and Marketing for the Fashion and Beauty industry.
What are your interests?
My love for fashion grew during my time in University while working in retail. I was always coming home with new shoes and clothing, my room literally looked like a department store! I then came across the world of blogging and plucked up the courage to create my own blog and share my outfits on Instagram. As a skincare junkie and fashion addict its been the perfect outlet to create and share my passion for style and makeup with other like-minded enthusiasts.
What beauty products can you not get enough of and why do you love them?
Rimmel Eyebrow Kohl Pencil, £3.99
I always get compliments on my eyebrows and it's all down to one product, the . This was the first eyebrow pencil I ever tried and its been a part of my makeup kit since. I've never needed to set my brows after application and my brows never loose their shape or run throughout the day. It's such a simple product that has always given me the best results.
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in shade 40, £5.99
When I discovered it was a great dupe for MAC Pro Long-wear Concealer there was no turning back. It doesn't crease, isn't cakey at all but gives great coverage for my under-eyes. On those zombie looking days this is my saving grace.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir, £32 for 100ml
I gave this a try for the first time last year and treated myself to the mini size for £12.00. You can use it as part of your skincare routine before adding a moisturiser, or as a primer before makeup but personally my skin loves it as a fixing spray. Every time I use it I feel so fancy and it smells soooo good, leaving my skin refreshed with a dewy finish. It's definitely a slice of luxury at an affordable price.
Sheet masks! Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask, £2.99 and the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrogel Recovery Mask £5.49
These masks are my top go-to's. They are the best at hydrating my skin, especially when its looking a little tired and needs a pick me up. I always feel my face looks more healthy and nourished after using them.
Rimmel Match Perfection Fix and Perfect Pro Primer Shade 002, £6.99
I was never a believer of primer, it was a step in my makeup routine I always skipped. All the primers I tried had this horrible silicone texture and sometimes I wasn't even sure if I had put enough on my face, because it would literally disappear as I used it. Then I discovered Rimmel Match Perfection Fix and Perfect Pro Primer Shade 002 and its been a game changer for me. I love that this primer applies more like a moisturiser, I can actually see and disperse the product evenly on my face. It really does a great job at mattifying my T-zone area, including my cheeks, without leaving my skin dull looking. A great base for my makeup.
Decleor Aromessence Neroli Amara Serum 15ml, £41.60
Years ago, during a spa weekend I indulged in a facial and this serum was introduced to me. It smells like an aromatherapy spa, I find the scent so calming and comforting, so I like use it in my night time skin routine. I pat a few drops onto my face and massage it into my skin with my jade roller. Its a little on the pricey side but its so worth it. A great treat to my skin and a little goes a long way.
